We for she event: Coming together to retain and advance women in technology.

We’ve been listening to the needs of our business community. To build sustainable companies and fill the growing talent gap, we need more women working in technology. How can we make the most of this opportunity? It takes a whole community-not only women-to build awareness, promote education and adjust attitudes. On June 3, we’re bringing the community together.

You’ll discover that entrepreneurship is a vital way for women to create success in tech. Learn what creates strong female entrepreneurs and how to turn some of the “challenges” women in tech may face into real opportunities.

We’ll also consider the unique benefits of attracting, retaining and advancing qualified women in the tech sector. Through engaging panels and roundtable discussions, we’ll share our findings and generate fresh ideas. You’ll benefit from strategic connections with those who see the value of more women working in tech. Enjoy light refreshments and networking while listening to live music by our special guests, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.

We’d love to see you there.  Registration is required and is free.  Register at https://ams.communitech.ca/events/list.aspx?utm_source=WIT+%22We+for+She%22+event+e-vite&utm_campaign=NASA+2014&utm_medium=email.
