Join Women in Communications in Technology, National Capital Region, (@WCT_NCR), Women Powering Tech (@WPTOttawa) and Girl Geek Dinners Ottawa (@GGDOttawa) for a discussion and networking event about how the gender gaps in technology, telecom and media can be addressed.
While opportunities continue to grow in tech, science and engineering, how can we ensure women are able to benefit in these traditionally male-dominated industries? New legislative measures were introduced in parliament recently to study the pay gap between men and women, but what else can be done to ensure greater equity for women in technology-oriented fields? What changes can be made in the workplace, in the boardroom, in education and in society to ensure greater opportunities for women?
